Soiling
Dust, bird droppings, and pollen on the glass can quietly shave output through the dry months. Regular cleaning keeps generation where it should be.
A solar system is a 25-year asset. A little regular attention protects every year of it.
Paso Solar watches your generation remotely, visits on a schedule to clean and check, and fixes faults before they cost you units. For home systems up to 10 kW that we install, the first five years are on us.
Buy a home solar system from Paso Solar, 10 kW or under, and comprehensive maintenance is included for five years — scheduled visits, panel cleaning checks, inverter and wiring checks, generation review, and support for covered faults. You do not need to buy an annual contract until year six.
A solar system fails quietly. It keeps working, just less well, and most owners do not notice until the bill creeps back up. These are the things a service visit catches.
Dust, bird droppings, and pollen on the glass can quietly shave output through the dry months. Regular cleaning keeps generation where it should be.
An inverter can trip on a grid disturbance and sit idle for days. Remote monitoring flags it the same day instead of at the next bill.
A DC connection that works loose runs hot. Caught early it is a two-minute fix; ignored it is a fire risk and a dead string.
Earthing and protection devices need to be confirmed as working, not assumed. This is the check most ad-hoc cleaners skip.
Every visit is the same checklist, so nothing is left to memory.
We compare your output against what the system should be making for the season and the weather, and act on any gap.
We check soiling levels and clean where needed, and advise on the right frequency for your location.
Error logs, temperature, ventilation, and firmware are checked, and the display readings are confirmed against the monitoring app.
Connections, cable condition, isolators, surge protection, and earthing are inspected and tightened where required.
Clamps, rails, and fasteners are checked for movement, corrosion, and water pooling.
You get a record of what was checked, what was done, and anything to watch, after every visit.
Commercial and industrial systems, and home systems past the free period, run on an annual maintenance agreement with a visit schedule and response times to match the site.
See maintenance plansYes. Every home solar system we install up to 10 kW comes with five years of comprehensive maintenance at no extra cost. There is no annual contract to buy during that time.
For a covered home system, we schedule regular visits through the year and keep an eye on generation remotely in between. For dusty locations we increase the cleaning frequency. Larger systems follow a plan set in the maintenance agreement.
Yes. We start with a one-time inspection to check the wiring, earthing, mounting, and inverter health, then propose a maintenance plan based on what we find.
Call us. A sudden drop is usually a tripped inverter, a blown string fuse, a shaded or soiled panel, or a supply-side issue. We diagnose it, and for covered systems the visit and the fix for such faults are included.
You can rinse them with plain water on a cool morning. What a service visit adds is the electrical side — checking connections for heat, confirming the earthing, reviewing the inverter logs, and catching a small fault before it becomes a costly one.
Tell us your system size, location, and who installed it. We will propose a plan, or confirm your free cover.
